An Easy Weeknight Dinner Recipe Favorite

Add to Plan to Eat

Air Fryer Italian Sausage with Peppers Over Whole Wheat Pasta

One pan in the air fryer, minimal cleanup, and plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. This is one of those dinners I make when I need something satisfying but don't want to spend the evening in the kitchen. This is a family favorite that's on our dinner rotation because it's so quick, easy, and full of flavor. I haven't tried making it with chicken or turkey Italian sausage, but I think either would work well. Just be sure to leave the casing on the sausage for this recipe.

Mimi's Tip 💗

Serve with a simple bagged salad and garlic bread. For lighter meals, skip the garlic bread—you'll still have a filling dinner thanks to the sausage and veggies. Skip the pasta if you’re avoiding carbs.
